The Story Behind the Lens
I’m Courtney Nagel — a Marine Corps veteran, wife, mom, and the face behind the camera.
Photography has always been my way of slowing down life’s chaos — capturing those split-second moments that tell a bigger story. Whether it’s the determination in an athlete’s stride, the pride in a veteran’s eyes, or the laughter shared between teammates, I live for those real, unscripted moments.
My time in the Marine Corps taught me discipline, precision, and the importance of paying attention to every detail. Those lessons now shape how I approach every session — calm, focused, and fully committed to getting it right.
Today, my mission looks a little different, but the heart behind it hasn’t changed: serve with purpose, capture with integrity, and create images that mean something long after the moment has passed.
When I’m not shooting, you’ll usually find me outdoors with my family — overlanding, off-roading, camping, or cheering from the sidelines — camera in hand, ready to capture the next great story.
